According to a recent press release on CalvinAyre.com, The Google Play Store Has Taken Action Against The Majority Of The Real Money Gambling Apps For Vietnamese Players. In total, Google Play removes fifty-seven real money gambling apps that associate themselves with Vietnam. Furthermore, Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications appears to confirm this event.
So, Why Does The Google Play Store Delete Vietnamese 57 Real Money Gambling Apps? According to the Google Play Store’s terms and conditions (based on which country you live in), real money gambling apps are illegal. Indeed, sixteen of the real money gambling apps were allegedly illegally exploiting users’ data in violation of Google Play rules. Moreover, Vietnam appears to consider online casino gambling illegal.
Google, including The Google Play Store, is not the only vendors removing mobile gambling apps. In August 2018, The Apple Store removes several Chinese gambling apps from their “China-facing Apple App Store”. That said, it appears that any form of online gambling in China is deemed illegal.
